The Kingwood Dog Park Association is a group of volunteers dedicated to improving and maintaining
the Kingwood Dog Park!
The Kingwood Dog Park is run entirely by volunteers, and funded through individual donations and
our generous sponsors.
Recent KDPA Accomplishments Include:
- Kingwood Dog Park Barktoberfest 2009 Booth! Many new people found out about the dog park for the first time, and KDPA was able to raise funds for future dog park improvements. In addition to our booth, KDPA also assisted in coordinating the Barktoberfest event, and setting up the "Kids Zone". Click here for our Barktoberfest pictures!
- Two Dog Park Clean Up Days! (June 20th, 2009 & August 8th, 2009) - With the help of the Arboricare crew and over 30 volunteers, much of the dog park overgrowth and many trees were removed to improve the conditions of park for our dogs!
- New banner / sign for the dog park
- We now have Kingwood Dog Park t-shirts and car stickers - Contact us if you'd like one!
- New stone entranceway to prevent mud puddles
- Trenches dug and hosing laid underground to improve the appearance of the park and make water access easier
- "Shower" nozzles and soap have been added to the dog park entrance to help clean your dog before you leave the park
- Online donation capabilities added to the web site
- New Kingwood Dog Park web site launched at: www.KingwoodDogPark.org!
